Space Force MSgt Sabrina Bruce has built an extraordinary career in military leadership, intelligence, and policy, setting records and breaking barriers along the way. Since enlisting in 2013, she has consistently demonstrated technical excellence, leadership, and dedication to service.
From her early career as a standout Airman, earning Senior Airman Below-the-Zone and earning distinguished graduate and Academic Achievement award at Airman Leadership School, to becoming the only enlisted Legislative Liaison to Congress at the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), her impact has been undeniable. She was selected as the lead liaison to the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, a position of immense trust and responsibility. Her career has been nothing short of remarkable—achieving the rank of Master Sergeant five years ahead of the average timeline and earning multiple accolades, NCO of the Year and SNCO of the Quarter twice. She was also selected as one of only two DoD members to attend the Inter-European Non-Commissioned Officer Academy, where she was named Outstanding Contributor and recently graduated from the Coast Guard’s Chief Petty Officer Academy and was competitively selected as an honorary Chief Petty Officer by her classmates. Sabrina has been awarded the Meritorious Service Medal, an Air Force Commendation Medal with one oak leaf cluster, and the Joint Service Achievement Medal. Beyond her personal success, Sabrina is a champion for inclusion, mentorship, and leadership development. Speaking of transgender service, she said, “By sharing stories of leadership, it helps adjust the narrative and normalize our experiences." Always continuing to grow her skills, Sabrina is currently attending the Cyber Combat Course. |
