Máel Sheridan is professor emeritus in the Department of Social Justice and Social Change at Hamline University in Saint Paul, Minnesota. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Arizona and a J.D. from Mitchell Hamline School of Law.
A veteran of the U.S. Army and Army Reserve, Máel authored the books Camouflage Isn’t Only for Combat: Gender, Sexuality, and Women in the Military and The U.S. Military’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” Policy: A Reference Handbook, and is co-editor of, with Bree Fram, With Honor and Integrity: Transgender Troops in Their Own Words. Máel is now enjoying his retirement near the beautiful beaches of Nova Scotia, Canada. |
